M3 437's fit M2C?
Hi guys,
Does anyone know if the 437's off an M3 will work on an M2C? I thought they would fit however someone mentioned that they might not. |

I believe they do even with the optional M Performance brake package. See here - https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1497066

Ok that's what I thought but I know lots of you guys have more experience than I did since I'm new to the M2 world.
Thanks for the answers. |

Recently bought an M2C. Would like to add to the question. Will 343M rims fit as a winter set? It’s 19” 8.5” wide with +35mm offset. The numbers seem to fit but would like some expert opinions from this forum. Thanks!

No modifications needed. Even the wider tires fit!

So adding onto this thread, want to confirm the following from forum members:
1) 437M wheels will fit a 2020 M2C (with the larger brakes) without adjustments? 2) 437M wheels with 255 fronts and 275 rears (wider than the OEM PSS) will also fit without issues? Thanks guys! |

2. Yes, those tires easily fit, they are as near as makes no difference, and not worth the change IMO. |

Yes, bought them used. It's a nice change from the black 437s that I still have. Been alternating for winter/summer! |

Shouldn't they be: 245/25.4 = 9.6" 265/25.4 = 10.4" delta = .8" 255/25.4 = 10" 275/25.4 = 10.8" delta = .8" The tire height measurements are correct, so you'd have .1" more rake. I think its a decent enough upgrade for more lateral and longitudinal grip with near factory level driving dynamics. |

Yes, they are correct. The TW is where the shoulder of the tire sits as measured on the wheel, so if you put the same tire on a wider or skinnier wheel it'll change a bit. On the M2 it's a bit funky, about 8.5 on the front actually, and 9.2 on the rear (but I use tirerack's numbers because they're quotable).
It's one of the reasons I have never understood guys going 255/275, the tires are just taller, the front is almost no wider, and the rear additional width will only add understeer. Beyond that, the rear tire is a pound heavier per corner. The only reason I can see to go 255/275 is for wheel protection from potholes and such. Last edited by VisualEcho; 07-29-2020 at 01:37 PM.. |

Oh, and to make things just a bit more involved, it depends on which exact tire you get. That's the TW in yellow..
