It's a visual reference that the car is right-side up.

From the picture, it seems as as if is black glue or plastidip...maybe it can be pealed off. If not, fortunately you can have the dealer order a new antenna (probably even pre-painted). Strange, though...did you notice this when you picked up the car?

Thanks all. No clue. Not marker though cause its not coming off with meth spirits. Waiting on BMW for next steps.

Also found this difference between front windows meeting the top of car, and back windows meeting top of car.

Is this normal? There is a thin rubber strip as the front windows meet the top of the car, but it looks as though it's almost 'missing' for the back windows.. on both sides too..

Sorry this is the best I have atm. It's a photo of this spot looking down on it in the gap between window and the car.

It looks more like the weatherstripping behind the gloss black window trim is slightly out of place....is that what you are referring to?

Just checked, mine is the same with the weather stripping. Maybe because only the door windows open.

Man the attention to detail on this thread is amazing. When I took delivery at the Welt, I just generally walked around, kicked the tires, and got in and drove hahaha

I made sure there were no paint damage especially under the front bumper.
I found scratch under the front lip on one of my previous cars upon returning home from delivery.
The m2 was flawless except for a few minor clear coat scratches from the mp spoiler install.

The antenna looks like it could've been scraped on the transport truck? Maybe the platform for the cars above was too low...

That, or it looks like someone wanted to use it to make sharkfin soup. Call PETA.
