I have the possibilty to buy a steering wheel in the link below. Anyone know why it should not fit an M2?

I can't say anything for certain, but this post from a while ago suggests all 2, 3, and 4, M and non-M wheels are interchangeable

Just remember you lose the heated steering wheel feature. I could live without it but some people really like a heated steering wheel.

Ok, thanks for your answers. I have the possibility to buy it with a >50% discount, brand new but have been displayed in a BMW showroom. Hopefully I can testfit it before my purchase.

The wheel in the link doesn't require any special wiring - you just transfer over the components from the standard wheel.
