Do you have a link to the iND tow cover for the M2C? Or did you modify it yourself to fit the M2C? As far as I know, the only one they had for F87 with a slot was only designed for the 2016-2018 M2 (non comp).

I didn't do anything to my car. Because PTF hasn't cracked the DME yet. RIP.

I look at this thread daily waiting for my M2C to finally show up from my European delivery sometime next month. I placed the order in May and since then have filled an empty bedroom with parts. I appreciate everyone's post as they give me ideas on how parts look on vehicles as well as give me ideas on what to purchase next! I will probably flood this thread when she finally arrives but I promise I will not disappoint

I didn't add this today, but they made it back from Europe and I love it. Green one is the German city toll sticker. Or at least that's what they told me. The yellow one is the Austrian Autobahn toll sticker.

Installed the Burger can flap to control the exhaust valves. Took about 30 seconds to install!!! Works perfectly. Had the Bimmerlink app before and it would always disconnect - when the app worked it was good but the valve controller is so much better. It remembers your last setting which is great for me - I like the valves open.

Had a busy last two weekends working on my M2c and my buddies M2c.

Painted my exhaust black (looks 100x better). Below are comparison photos of my M2c with painted exhaust and my buddies non painted exhaust.

I installed the BMW M Performance Suspension on my buddies car. Below are some pictures. Will post suspension pics later.

Cleaned up the exhaust really well with isopropyl alcohol. Sanded the muffler down, cleaned it again, primed it, and then painted.

VPC didn't remove them, nice! I hope they leave mine alone too. I have Germany, Austria, and Czech Republic.

Looks great! Awesome work!

Quick question. Is there a reason why you did not simply remove the exhaust tips, rather than tape them all up in place?

I figured it would take more time to remove the tips and install them after painting than simply taping them. Taping them was quicker for me.

I agree, don't have to remove the tip as long as you cover them well. First time I painted mine right after I picked up my car last Oct I just covered with gloves. However few weeks back ordered new BMS tips, and spayed WD40, and pulled it off without using any tools. I repainted with different brand and so far holding off well. I have few pics in page 56.

Installed ASD bypass harness and applied some touch up paint to the rock chip I already have in the front bumper. My PPF kit arrived as well, so that will get thrown on this weekend. I also scheduled my 1200 mile service for Thursday, then I can give it the full beans.

I'm eyeing the BMS tips. I really liked the slanted black chrome old tips that they previously sold. They looked OEM just bigger diameter. Wish they would of kept this style.

Not many pictures of the new billet style on an M2c. Not totally sold on them yet, just need to see more pictures of them installed.

Installed the M Performance Suspension on my buddies M2 Competition. Install went smoothly. I have been working on all my cars for years so everything was straightforward. If someone wants their MP Suspension installed in the SoCal area let me know! I can do for half the price the local shops charge.

Also I was browsing the suspension forum and I noticed 2 people installed their rear spring adjustment perches the wrong way. They installed them on the bottom of the rear coil, they need to be on the top!

Here are some pictures

I wish I had left my Austrian one on...did I have a 3rd? ...I forgot now, but yea, I was about to scrape off the Germany one too and then realized that it would be cool to keep it on as memory. Bummer!

Mine finally came in and picked it up from the port.. Now I have to go through all the annoyances of getting it legal.

Insurance -> State Inspection (Failed because no registration) -> Registration -> State Inspection

But I can't get the initial failed inspection because the tint is too dark because I got it from a Vegas dealer. So now I have to remove/install legal tint, and get a failed inspection.

No kidding, I thought the exhaust on the M2C is a single piece all the way to the down pipe..should have removed mine to paint well..still better than stock tho

It is a single piece unit. I cut it according to AA midpipe instructors.

You still have unpainted sections above the tips.
