Is screen mirroring possible in M2C. I saw this in X3.

I don’t believe it is with an iPhone but is with Android.

It doesn't do it by default with Apple or Android, but you can get stuff from BimmerTech to make it work.

But I think you need to fit an 3.5mm Aux port for audio, since our cars don't have one. And most phones don't have it either, so you need an adapter on that end too.

Hi could someone please suggest what could be wrong, I have a 2017 Build September 2017 M2, I believe I have a NBT Evo System, however when I code for screen mirroring the option becomes available but I doent look for devices. I think the issue is that I dont have this option to toggle:

WLAN_WIFI_DIRECT
WLAN_STATUS

I have the other options but not these. My VIN number also indicates that I have a wifi installed from factory.

Well that explains that; I was trying to watch Narcos in rush-hour traffic on the iDrive screen but couldn't figure out how to mirror the video from my iPhone..

Are you coding via ISTA or bimmercode?

You should have that setting under the telefon telematics online if you're doing it via bimmercode and expert mode.

But TBH the latency is really high and it keeps crashing for me if I try to use maps and scroll to quickly or skip too much in a video probably because it can't keep up. So I think the screen mirroring is pretty crap at least in my experience.
