Musicar Mosconi/Dynaudio/Morel Full Active Buiild - Because I'm Extra Like That

Just got a chance to pick this up a week ago from the folks over at MusicarNW. I figured that when you have the best car ever, why settle for anything when it comes to audio?

The only brief I gave them was that it needs to sound as amazing as it possibly can, look as stock as possible, and give me full access to my trunk. Specs are as follows:

Source – Factory iDrive System
Processing – Helix DSP
Primary Amplifier - Mosconi PRO 5/30
Secondary Amplifier - Mosconi PRO 4/10
Auxiliary Amplifier - Alpine 2-Channel PowerPack
Front Stage - Dynaudio Passive Esotar/Esotec Reference Component System
Middle Stage - Jehnert XE200 Premium Shallow Under Seat Woofers
Rear Stage - Morel Tempo Ultra Integra 402 Point-Source Coaxial Components
Subwoofer - Morel Ultimo SC Titanium 10”
Fitment - Custom amplification storage, subwoofer fab, and preset/bass selector.

Wow. That’s an awesome setup!
It must have cost a fortune for a system like that.

wow what a sexy and well done build, after picking up my used 18' this sock system absolutely is garbage. My 2011 Ram 2500 has a better sound system in it. I would totally buy one of those sub enclosures

I've had them setup my last couple of BMW's, and they've always done a stellar job. 13 months into owning my M2C, and I just haven't had the ability to give them my car for a couple of days (living in Cornelius and trying to deal with a other-side-of-the-river business during M-F business hours only is a challenge). All my equipment is just sitting in my garage taking up space. Sigh.

Yeah, conveniently I live about 1.5mi away from them so it's an easy drop off before heading into the office. Plus I was able to drop it off during a week I was out of town which was even more convenient.

This was my first time working with Musicar. Historically I had always worked with Mobile West and something changed after they had expanded. The quality used to be incredible when Pete was doing all the work but when he got the bigger space, the output was very hit or miss.

I think I'll be using Musicar moving forward. Expensive, but well worth it.

I used to work within walking distance (assuming you enjoy a decent stroll as I was working on the other side of the river) but my office moved to Hillsboro about the same time I moved to Cornelius (good for the commute). That made it a lot easier to get back and forth. They did such a great job that I have trouble with the thought of letting anyone else tear into my car.

Very nice install!

I got my sub enclosure, Morel Hybrid's, and Mobridge DA-1 for my stereo build from Musicar. Good people to deal with.

I've got my Level 3 system sitting in the garage hopefully for a weekend project. Do you know how they connected the Alpine power pack to power the rear speakers?

Dynaudio make great speakers . I'd love it but wonder how exploitable it is in the noisy cabin of the M2?!

Wow, wow, wow!!! How much of that exquisite sound can you properly appreciate over the exhaust noise?
