My parents raised 4 kids, sacrificed everything for us, put us all through school and left us with zero loans and they are finally now starting to enjoy themselves. I love your story sir, I can only hope and pray my wife and I can be enjoying each others company and doing the things you two are doing. Awesome ED trip. We drove through Italy and France a few months ago and I can't wait to do it again.

Love the M2 and respect to your wife for going with the Manual.

Enjoy in good health!

Awesome right up and pics!

What octane(s) are they running over there? I've been told that their fuels have a higher rating than ours is in the states, am I right? I'm just curious as to what "Super" and the "V-Power Racing" are rated.... And I consider myself lucky to live in a state where it's a huge rarity to see anything but 93 for Premium lol

Nice - congratulations! ED is such a wonderful experience. I'm glad your car didn't get affected by the diff recall and you were able to drive it.

The 95 in Europe is the same as our 91, their 98 is our 93 or so. They do have some pumps that have 100+, but it was way too expensive to bother with.

Both of your passions for cars despite the years of hard work and family duties, is truly inspiring.

You both deserve this reward so much !

Thanks for sharing your story in such details !!!

This is not just another ED but another worthwhile milestone in your life as a couple and husband and wife...

I can only hope my life with my wife will even be as close...

Congrats

PS: thats not a lot of pictures...

Some "parkades" over there are barely fit for motorcycles
That problem is only true for countries like Italy, France and some parts of Switzerland (can't speak on the East European countries as I was never interested in visiting them). They have their historic towns with tight and narrow roads. The "Europeans" treat their cars like any other nation does. Some people love their cars, some people don't even bother about scratches. If you do an ED here, I can assure you if you just drive around Munich (or Germany) there will be no problems at all with parking. If you go to Milano, Rome or Paris...you better go for a parking garage in Downtown. I drive around Europe all the time and never had a issue with it - regardless of what car I've been with.

Great trip, and really drives the point home that the Euro Delivery experience is an addiction.

BTW, My F80 was delivered on the same turntable.

Best of luck with the car, and enjoy it safely!
