How strong is the M2 diff and axles?

Hi all,

Has anyone here broken axles or overheated a diff either drag racing or lapping?

Wondering if there is a weak point if someone decided to run drag radials to drag race or R-Compound tires for extended lapping.

Thanks,
Chris

I had a diff replaced that had metal in it. Don’t know if it was from launches on street tires, or slicks on the track.

But, I no longer run slicks on track, and do fewer launch control launches.
