M2 CS - Black/Gold/Manual

Even though I've shared these pics on the delivery thread for this specific car, I thought about starting a new thread as they came out amazingly good. They were taken by the wife who happens to be as much into motorsports as I am.

This is the link to the delivery thread where I have shared some initial impressions of the car's performance https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1733746 (page 2).

Enjoy and stay safe!

Nice shots!
Those gold wheels...the look of them from the picture seem to be more shiny than matte. Is it a different finish than the frozen gold M Performance 763M?

Perfect.

You going to get full PPF? My car was wrapped immediately after purchase and 8 months later the car is still flawless. Not a single rock chip, pimple, ding, scratch anything.

As a previous owner of a black 1m, can't recommend PPF on black BMWs enough. The primer under the black paint is grey and stands out shockingly bad.

The wheels are the normal matte gold available from the factory (763M R19). They tend to show a different shine depending on the light as well as the angle they are seen from. All I can say is that they are stunning yet discrete.

Thank you for the advice RobertM. The car's first outing was actually to the XPel dealer. The product applied was the XPel ultimate plus wrap which in theory is supposed to be self healing. Even though the dealer offered to wrap the whole car, I just had the whole front, the hood, the front fenders, the windshield posts and the first part of the roof done. The car as seen in the pictures is already wrapped in its protective film.

You are clearly doing it right! Enjoy the heck out of your new car.

You've had a few other BMWs as well I believe. Looking forward to your impressions once broken in.
