BTW who did you sell your stock brakes to? What did they drive that the M2 ones would bolt up?

An F80 owner. I think his IG name is @coloradom3 or something like that.

Now I'm really curious how my truck brakes will fare. I'll also have the EC7's (19's when apex releases them) and just put on the GC plates this past weekend.
What is your camber set to? How was your tire wear?

edit: I see you said -3 in the apex thread. I have mine on minimum in "race" setting which looks to be 2.9/3.0 with our gauge. I kept it there as well and toe went about 1/32" out.

Yes I have -3 front and -2 rear camber with 0 toe front and very minimal (close to 0) toe in the rear. I used this setup on my M4 too and my tire wear so far has been pretty good. No uneven wear etc. Anything below -3 front camber causes little extra outer shoulder wear in the front (even on NT01s).

Just had my Remus Sport installed on my US spec M2C. For those who don't know, I also tried Remus Race and AA midpipe before this. I found it too loud for my taste and went back to stock for awhile. Remus Sport currently is paired with the stock midpipe since I wanted to hear how loud it was going to be before adding an aftermarket midpipe to the equation. Here's my review:

If you want something that's significantly louder than stock then this is not the right setup for you by itself but adding AA midpipe would help greatly for more volume based on my prior experience. I don't know how Remus did it but Remus Sport sounds significantly deeper than stock exhaust despite being paired with the stock midpipe. In my exhaust search, I was looking for something a bit louder than stock without ruining the tone and something that looks better than that fugly stock muffler (even though mine was painted in black). Remus Sport checks all the boxes for me and I absolutely love it and couldn't be happier! It's nowhere near as loud as my previous Remus Race+AA mid combo but it has really nice tone and added volume. Videos in general don't do any exhaust justice but I have a few sound clips available on my IG (@cntzl.m2) if anyone wants to check out how it sounds (Listen to it with your headphones on as it's closer to how it sounds in person). When I get a chance, I'll upload the videos to Youtube and share the links here as well. Long story short, I highly recommend checking out Remus Sport for those who are looking for a nice balance between the tone and the added volume.

No more hanging muffler:

Just did my 10th track day in the M2C at Laguna Seca and came back with a new PB of 1:40.5. Still far from a perfect. There are some mistakes such as early braking and carrying less speed than the car can handle at couple corners. 1:38 is definitely doable with me driving or even a better time with a more experienced driver.

Mods: BM3 CS+ map, Ohlins R/T with GC camber plates, 275/35/18 square NT01s, Essex AP Racing brake kit (front and rear) with DS3.12 pads.

Curious - did you buy the wheel and tire package separately? Did you see your stickers? I so wish you could pick wheels when ordering the vehicle of a modest add in price.

What wheel and tire package? Are you referring to the 763M wheels? If so, only way to order those with the car is to order them with tires (Cup2s). BMW then installs them at the port and add them to the window sticker. However, that's not how I got mine due to couple reasons. I only wanted the wheels not the Cup2s. Also the price of that package is quite high. I paid $3k for my 763M wheels and sold my stock 788M wheels for $1.6K.

Yes, Remus Sport + AA midpipe. Laguna Seca has strict sound limits (usually 90dB but this event was a 92dB day) so I had to close the valves and unplug the cable so that the valves don't open at full throttle. As you can tell, it's almost as quiet as stock with valves closed.

Yea I sold the car at the beginning of February. I was planning to get a more family friendly car some time this year but I really miss my M2. Might have to figure something out and get another M2 (and a seperate family car). Unlike most people, I actually like the upcoming G80 but it's about a year away. We'll see...
