Alloy wheel/brake dust
Hi, I wondered what ppl use on there comp alloys. I only use my car at weekends, so it’s always clean, I wash it then may not use for week or so, but when I do the alloys get filthy full of rust of brake dust, it’s driving me crazy, is there any products to stop this?
Obvs I use the iron fall out remover etc when I was it, then dress the alloys, but the next time I drive it there filthy again. Any help |

MmmmmM2 indicated that Armor-All’s brake dust repellent product works well. Ya gotta reapply after every wash. More here:

Problem is made worse by washing and leaving parked, not M2 problem any car really.
I always go for a quick drive round the block to get water out of the brakes, then quickly towel off the rims when you get back. |
