Full Screen backup camera ?
When I first picked up the car and I shifted into reverse, the backup camera was full screen. I reset the iDrive a few weeks ago back to the factory default or whatever you want to call it. And now I only get a partial screen when backing up. And I can't figure out how to get it back to full screen.... anybody know? Do I have to code it?
P.S- I have double checked and it is not in split view. |

Sorry if I'm being thick here - But do you mean that when I am in reverse and see the camera screen, then I should twist the knob twice to the right and I will get full screen? because I did that and nothing happened. Also, what is widgets?
Here's all that I see: |

I am also interested in how you get a full screen on an LCI M2. Nothing I have tried works.
I only get the images Ceeto showed. |

Rear Camera Display only half screen
I had a similar problem with the rear camera display being full screen then all of a sudden only being half screen with the other half being the outline of the car as others have illustrated. The BMW Genius said"[B]The large rear view camera view can be achieved when in reverse and the camera button to the left of your gear lever is pressed. This will change the display from the smaller rear view camera and Park Distance Control sensors to the full screen. They said they tested on their car and it worked. But it did not work on my 740. I assume it is a software problem but wanted to see if anyone has an idea.

Try to click on the checked Marked P sign, that should shut off the backup sensors and changes your screen to fulll screen. I'm referring the photo you show above

I have a '17 and the rearview camera was never full screen, It's always been that shitty half view from day 1. I've tried changing every setting known to man, nothing changes it.
