2018 M2 Pricing VS 2019 M2 Comp Pricing
I have been looking for a new 2018 M2 manual this last week, and with the $2000 finance incentive you can get a 2018 M2 for around $6000 - $7000 off MSRP. The problem is most of the 2018's I have found have a lot of add on's, so the MSRP is around $62,500 - $64,500.
Let's take a 2018 with a $63,000 MSRP for example and say you saved $6,000. That puts you right at $57,000 plus tax, reg, etc. I located a couple 2019 M2 Competition models with Manual Trans and the executive package for $60,500 plus fees. For only $3,500 more would you rather have a 2019 with less carbon add on's vs. a tricked out 2018? |

I would go for the 19 also. Options add very little to resale value.

You should be able to get a killer deal on an '18 toward year end if they are still on the lot. However, if you can afford both then buy the car you want because in two years time you won't be thinking about a few thousand dollars saved or spent.

OG M2 makes sense if you find the typical $56k version and can get it for $50k. Getting it for a few thousand less than a brand new Competition doesn't make sense to me.
