Anyone have navigation blackout errors on their idrive?

A couple weeks ago i got an alert for the navigation update

Then I noticed after a while of driving, after like 20 mins the navigation map will go all black

Its happened pretty much everytime ive drove the car , im pretty sure the update messed something up.

Anybody else have this?

its probably corrupt map data. is it possible to reinstall the maps via a DVD or other medium?

im taking it to the dealer next week, (still under warranty)

took it to the dealer, he did a software reinstall, and the problem was still there

the technician said i will probably need to get the whole headunit replaced
