Fuel and ground for dashcam

First time installing/hard-wiring a dashcam in a car. Could anyone help and let me know which fuel I should use for that? And where is the best place for ground?? Thanks

Used this to install my Blackvue. Works with any dashcam setup. Very good how-to.
