Has anyone added a subwoofer or sound system?
Has anyone added a subwoofer or sound system?
looking to add a powered SUB, since the battery and fuses are all in the truck, it will be really easy to install, however, not sure where i would get the sound signal from.., maybe i will tap onto the rear speakers.. let me know what and how you did it.

just finished installing a rockford fosgate 10" .. it sounds awesome and super easy install.
picked up the sound signal from the rear speaker, power from the battery, remote from one of the switchable fuses.

rockford fosgate sells this 10" full enclosed and powered sub and it sounds amazing. combined with HK sound system, now the whole sound sounds amazing. all you have to do is plug in the sub and in case i need to use the trunk space, i can easily unplug the sub and remove it. wiring was super easy too.

Hmmm... This sounds like a great idea! The only thing that really annoys me as far as sound goes, is the lack of hitting the really low beats. This should solve that very inexpensively!

If you mount it in the trunk, wouldn't it sound muffled? Do you need to drive with one of the rear seats down to hear the full effect?

so it works well. the only weakness in my setup is that my input is High from the speakers, so the bass is not crazy strong but its a lot better. you can improve that by taping on the subs under the seat instead but then you will have to route some wiring from inside the car to the back.
