I listen to a station that doesn't have the strongest signal but in my other cars (F48 X1 and e46 330) it's still tolerable.
Are you experiencing poor FM reception in your M2? How does it compare to your other cars?

Same. I've had several cars while living at my current address and this is the first car that does not hold a clear signal while in my garage...horrible reception. Guess just not a very good antenna.
No biggy these days though. Only listen to fm when too lazy to browse other sources.

Interesting I love FM. Thing is though that the FM volume is super quiet so when I switch to satellite or USB or hardrive the volume almost blows your head off. Does anyone know if these is a way to turn up the "gain" on the FM?...or turn down the others?

My FM comes in fine, but the tower for my main station is only like 20 miles from my house.....although I can drive 40 miles the other way and it still comes in strong.

That station is a 19 KW station, so not super powerful but not weak, either.

My FM reception is okay compared to other cars as well. I see that OP you are also in Vancouver.

To give you a good sense, in Richmond, its fine, but sometimes in Burnaby, it statics in and out very briefly.

Most stations are good enough but my favourite 99.3 always had a weak signal. On my other cars it was still usable but in the M2 the reception is really poor once I go east of Burnaby.

Oh well, the audio is pretty good at playing other music sources, not a big deal or worth looking into signal boosters.

Where the heck IS the FM antenna on this car, anyway? Buried in the shark fin?

No, not the fin. I believe it's part of the audio harness and it goes along the A pilar.

I just noticed a option under radio for HD something....after turning it on, I received pictures on each of my radio stations with the picture of the station name or the pictures of the hosts of the station.

It's kind of cool actually.
