M2 Camber Plates work on M2c?

Does anyone know what if anything they changed on the M2C suspension from the 17-18 M2? Wondering if camber plates from an OG M2 will fit M2c.

Yes - m2 top mounts are cross compatible with M2C

I believe the M2 Competition comes with CF strut brace, much like the F8X M3/M4.

https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_9769

Either way, we can make them or swap parts on a non Competition GC plate to adapt them.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure the OG M2 and M3/M4 all used the same plate. The plate sits below the strut brace so it shouldn't matter.

BTW is it possible to remove the camber plates from the car without taking the whole strut assembly out? I need to swap back to stock.

OG M2 and F8X M3/4 use different factory upper mounts. The strut brace bolts to the strut mount on the M3/M4. We have both somewhere around here; I'll post some pictures if I can find them.

What suspension are you using? I'll usually recommend to remove the strut completely if you're running an OE style spring. Most of the time a spring compressor is needed.

Correct - my bad - 5 stud m3/4 topmounts are cross compatible with m2c top mounts

I'm using oem springs/shocks. So are you saying OG M2 camber plates won't work on a M2C?

From when I can tell, that is correct. However you're more than welcome to send your OG plates in and we can modify them to work with the M2 Competition. We would can add the correct hardware(couple bucks) and send them out the same day they arrive here.

No

OGm2 top mounts are a hybrid of F2x/F3x TM's - single bolt mounting for strut brace - and F8x in terms upper perch bearing to suit large dia front strut montube damper rods

M2C has same alloy strut brace as F8x m3/m4 so TM's are now same F8x incl F87Comp

Ah ok cool, I guess the plates I have for my M2 was ordered as M235i then not M3. I can't remember it's been a while.

M2 and M2C do not share the camber plates. M2C will require F8x M34 style camber plates.
