On the 1M there was a noticeable flare. The M2 appears to smooth out the flare, but from some angles the rear fender does look large. Either you like it or you don't.

Not sure if I'll ever completely love the front. Those fangs are wrong on this car. Everything else looks great though.

Funny my favorite part is the front, think the fangs look wicked. Even though I wont be ordering it in black (unless I had 2 oompa loompa's washing it twice a day) I still think this car will look the best in BSM because of the lack of CF roof and how black makes the back end look much better overall, especially with the rear reflectors.

With most new BMW's you need to see the car in person to get the full visual impact that the designers intended. This is especially true with cars like the M2 and M4 that have fender buldge rather than fender flares like the M3 that are more defined and easy to capture in pictures. Add to this that this car is on smaller, less sporty winter wheels, and honestly I do not think it looks very good.
However, in person and in LBB, I think this car will look amazing with huge on road presence. I am really looking forward to seeing one when my local dealer gets one!

Can anyone photoshop the M3/M4 bumper on the M2? I just want to see what it would look like if the M2 followed the front of the M3/M4 instead of the X5/X6 M with the massive, squared air dam/curtains

Seeing these pictures reminds me that I don't actually LOVE the M2 in any of the four colors that BMW saw fit to offer it in.
Black, white, teal or gray...for me any of these is going to be a compromise that I'm close to finding unacceptable. |

As far as the alpine white goes, it looks way too much like the AW E30 325e I had more than 20 years ago. Boooooring, in other words. LBB is almost certainly the color for me. Obviously others may wildly disagree. That's why they provide us with choices. |
