Replace start button technique

When you replaced the start button, did you use the more refined "IND" teqnique or did any of use successfully use the "pull" technique?
Just wanna know if the "pull" is safe to use without damaging anything, it sure seems a lot faster than removing all that stuff just to change button..

IND

Pull (couldnt get pic to show)

I did it the IND way. It comes out easily.

It seems safer to me.

I did it the IND way and it was really easy. You might break a clip doing the pull method, although unlikely it really didn't take much time to pull it apart and do it right.

Not the greatest idea, because you can damage the internal tabs that hold the button in this way.
