Windshield protection?? Ppf? Options?
Hey guys,
I will.be getting my windhsield replaced after i bad rock chip led to a big crack What is the best option to protect the new windshield from this and keep it crystal?? Ive heard ppf, are there any other options that are good? Thanks in advance! |

I don’t think there is anything. PPF will mess up your intermittent wipers.

I asked about this at the shop that did my PPF and they said there was a special product they used (forgot the name) but it cost $500 and only lasted 6 months to a year. Couldn't justify that unless I owned something super high end. Just dealing with the little chips for now. Might repair or replace the windshield eventually.

Check out clearplex. I heard it was $250 in SoCal for initial install and then a recommended annual replacement for daily drivers but subsequent replacements would have about $150.
