That looks nice but is it the CF version? It's hard to tell from the small photo.

Anyway, I started this thread to help me decide if I should order it and now I did.

It will take few weeks to get here (the CF version) but once I get it installed I'll share pictures.

Sadly it looks like the CF version is pretty expensive to get in the states.. Was quoted anywhere from 1000 to 1200 with shipping from Germany.

Mine is not the CF version. I wanted something that was functional and strong. I have lost many a CF splitter to curbs and driveways.

Unfortunately yes, it is a bit tilted up but it's only visible from this angle.
That part doesn't bug me. What I don't like is the fact that the CF pattern is significantly different than the M Performance bits.

That said, I really like the subtle style, good ground clearance, and durability.

I'd be getting the ABS version so that isn't a potential concern. I'm just worried it will create lift at speed, rather than downforce.

Personally, I'm curious as to what Canadian BMW dealers are selling. Realoem doesn't appear to list anything other than CF for the M2 or M2C...

I'm not sure I understand the above question. We get the same stuff in Canada as the US.

This is not an OEM part, it's by German company Lightweight.

What a lot of people might be interested is the fact their CF version is made from the same durable ABS plastic and only the top layer is CF. Thanks to this it should be able to take the same abuse as the black version.
