JB4: How to determine if its been used or not?
Hey all. I just bought a used 17 M2, the previous owner said he bought a JB4 but never used it. He provided the box.
I didn't plan to tune the M2, would like to sell the tune. But want to make sure I confirm I can resell it. On my previous M3 tune once you applied it to your car, you could never resell it. Can somebody help me understand the JB4. Has it been applied? Thanks

Why did you buy a used JB4 if you don't plan to tune the car and instead want to sell the tune you just got?
The visual signs are the only signs that can determine if the JB4 is used, but no one will believe that someone got a tuner and never used it. They will assume it's used but still in new condition. The highest risk when buying a used JB4 is not the usage but the potential water damage which cant be seen in most cases
