how much camber to run

I just got a set of Ohlins R&T coilovers and GC camber plates, how much camber should i be running now that im sitting lower than stock? I know that the oem camber setting tends to destroy the front tires and i want to stop that. Any advice helps!

Depends entirely on your driving habits. It could be anything between OEM -1.5 to aggressive -3.++

Also depends on whether you want to set and forget or if you’re prepared to make changes between street and track days.

Pick a number and monitor your tyre wear. Adjust as needed. Perhaps -2.0?

The tire wear doesn't come from just camber, toe plays a big role. If you run 0 toe in the front the car will turn in better and wear the tires less. The downside is that on a highway the car needs more steering corrections to keep going straight.

Once I get camber plates I'll take it to an alignment machine and mark the plates for 1.5 and 3 degrees

How much toe does the OEM spec have? are you going to be running 1.5 in the front and 3 in the rear?

Stock front toe is 0.08 degrees per side for 0.16 total.

What I meant by marking the camber plates is just in the front for quick changing between street and track.

So my street setup will be 1.5 front 2.0 rear and the track setup will be 3.0 front 2.0 rear.

I think you find toe-in angle (T) wears tyres more than camber angle (C)

My DD car fast road/TD set up with MPerf suspension as follows

Front - C is -2.25deg & T set to <0.05 deg per side
Rear - C is -1.5deg & T set to 0.05deg per side.

Car is stable, great traction and steering. Tyre wear is even

I plan to run the same setup as you. I will likely try 3.0 F and 2.0 R right off the bat. If you don't mind me asking, what did this set up cost you? I need to set up an Ohlin and CG fund for when its spring LOL.

Awesome. You got a killer price on the ohlins. I'm not too far from IND in Chicagoland. Used to live right by them.
