Only reason I have an M2C is because in my neck of the woods a GT350 or ZL1 1LE is not for sale and very very dear to import.
GT500 looks amazing, esp with the carbon package. |

I’d take a GT350 over the GT500. No need for that much power, weight and heat for road racing applications.
I hope that between the Voodoo and Predator motors there is now enough 5.2l V8s which justifies assembly line process instead of hand building. But probably not. |

They say the GT 350 is the track car and the GT 500 is a drag car.

No manual kills it for me. I can see super sports cars not having a manual, but it's hard to imagine the top Mustang not being available with one.

This is an M car website, meaning most of us bought M cars, meaning most of us didn't pick our cars because it was the fastest thing for the amount of money we had. I bought my car because it was top to bottom the most fun and well balanced car I could find for 60 grand. The GT350 fits that philosophy a lot better than the GT500 does, and while I respect the hell out of the GT500 (its undeniably cool) I think if it came down to it, i'd have more fun in something more balanced like a GT350. |

your right..i was in the same train of thought. i bought my m2 because it has balanced handling...decent power and had a decent interior and the utility of a trunk and rear seats. if i didnt need the utility aspect, i probably would've just got a cayman. i love that flat plane crank sound of the gt350r...i think that will be the classic in 20yrs in manual form. |
