Tire Trailer for M2?

My latest roadblock is losing the ability to transport my track rims to an event.

With the 4 point cage going in I'm either going to drive up on Goodyear Supercar 3R's, or have to add a tire trailer.

Any of you go this route?

if yes what did you purchase and why?

TIA,
Steve

There is a good thread on this somewhere on the forum. I found it very informative as this is something I plan to do for the exact reason you state. I won't get to it this year but plan to customize one of the utility trailers from a local trailer builder. I already purchasec the curt hitch (also another thread on that specifically).

I'm going to run 285/30/18's on my Apex 10" rims with 33 offset and a 12mm spacer.

I went with Leroy Engineerings Paddock Tire Trailer. It comes in Two widths I believe depending on how wide your Tires are. You can customize the Deck to accomodate up to 8 Tires if you wish. Price on site shows $2,400. Looking forward to my 8 hour drive to Watkins Glenn in August. I don't even notice the trailer behind me.

Unfortunately last I heard he's not in business anymore and never actually sold any trailers . Leroy Engineering seems to be the only off the shelf tire trailer option. I'll probably go that route once I get a cage. Shipping is a bit eye watering though (over $1k for me in Seattle), so I may look into what local shops could do fab wise...

Look up the Aluma AE46. I think it's a great enclosed option which is what I would like personally. If I'm on a long road trip and I need to hit a hotel I don't really like my stuff out in the open.

I probably won't do that exact one but as mentioned before local trailer builders can make me something similar for a bit less $$

I ordered a trailer from Leroy last year and had a Stealth Hitch installed. Setup was great. Didn't notice the trailer behind me, even during longer drives and higher speeds. I received many compliments with the setup. Highly recommend both of these products if you cannot trailer your car to track.
Unfortunately, I only used the trailer for a few events. Eventually had cage and seats installed (seat belts removed). Didn't feel comfortable driving a car that technically wasn't street legal. Then there was the thought of hitting roll cage without helmet during an accident.
Ended up getting a new tow vehicle and a friend is letting me borrow a Trailex open trailer. If I could do it again, i would have just gone down this route and save some money.
