Do any of the beta testers know when the feature is supposed to roll out to the public?

Damn, just read the 8 pages, what a thrilling read haha. Started checking out cheapest way to get the AK Motion data display by page 2, then hoping bimmerlink could disable burbles, and now waiting for updated app.
I can't stand the burble.
Thank you guys!

Update to bimmerlink today but it only lists bug fixes.

Getting the update now, but I'm out of town for a few weeks so can't check to see if it's in there. I see it just says bug fixes but I'm not sure it ever says anything else lol

I am looking forward to this feature being added to Bimmercode as well. Hopefully it'll be available soon. Fingers crossed.

I emailed Stephan yesterday and he said it was not ready for primetime yet. Couldn't provide an estimate either.

Mosselman iControl valve

I just installed this unit from Mosselman in an attempt to not have burbles (USA spec M2C). It works great - in Efficient mode, open the valves and get the sound from Sport/Sport+, but without burbles. If you want to have burbles, just switch modes. Valves open/close using the Cruise control up/down button. In theory it would work with any exhaust that utilizes the OEM valve controls.

https://www.mosselmanturbo.com/en/ic...xhaust-valve-1

Observations:

No wires, it plugs directly into the OBD port and stays there.

It does not seem to operate during cold start, so you are not able to close the valves and quiet it down.

On startup it always reverts to valves closed, even if Cold Start not active.

If you engage cruise control, it overrides the Mosselman unit.

Ships from Netherlands, total cost to Florida $308.

I has solved my desire for louder sound without burbles. Combined with painting the muffler, the stock exhaust is much improved. My plan is still to go to an exhaust setup that is louder with valves open (TBD), but I had been concerned about the burbles being even more annoying to me. Problem gone.

Np! Checked on both devices (ios and android) myself but nothing here so far. We'll see what comes first; the Ak-display or the update

Edit: Found it at the Android play store. It states it is only for S55 engines though..

I just updated my bimmerlink app on an android device.

Went to the car to try tune out burbles on the s55, however, it did not work. I press off, exit the screen and go back into burbles setting, it automatically toggled back to 'on'.

Anyone else getting the same problem? Thank you
James

Sorry you're having issues. I have iOS and no update as of yet...be encouraged that the developer will fix it. I'm running one of the first beta versions and it works great, and has so since early Aug.

Best bet is to email the developer straight from the app and let him know. Stefan is extremely responsive...

Thanks man. I emailed him this morning, since I'm in Asia, there's time lag.
Also really no rush, just coz I do appreciate his effort on the app and want him to know if there are any bugs in the update. Will keep everyone informed when I hear back from Stefan.

Considering he said it wasn't ready for prime time yet and then shortly thereafter there was an update, I wonder if it was released by mistake?
