Help Me Replace My Spark Plugs

2019 M2C here with ~32k miles. Never changed the spark plugs and I’m overdue for my 30k miles service schedule. Could someone please link me to the right spark plugs I should be getting? I’ve search, but there were so many options from different folks.

Car is NOT tuned…yet. Will probably go more than Stage 1.

Thanks in advanced!

Stick with the OEM spark plugs and make sure they are gapped properly from the box. No need to go colder plugs or tighter gap especially if you're stock tune. Once you get to Stage 1 or higher, I'd follow the tuner's recommendation VS follow what people say online.

Thank you!

Could you please link me to the spark plugs I need? I’ll be replacing my valvtronic Servomotor this Friday and was hoping to take care of the of the spark plugs.

P/N: 12-12-0-039-634 - you’ll need 6 of them. Also a thin walled 12 point 14mm socket is necessary for removal/installation.

I used stock original plugs on Stage 1 without issue.

Thanks for the recommendation!

This popped up as an alternate offering from Bosch. Are these OK?

My buddy as well. Stage 1 tune for 4 years now, tracks his car as well.

No issues.

Yes, they are the exact same thing without the M branding. Bosch is the OEM.

Would you recommend the one with the M branding over the OEM Bosch?

If your wallet's feel a bit too heavy then go for it. Otherwise stick to buying OEM.

I’ll go the other way and say get the M branded units from FCP and then use their warranty program to replace them aggressively for free.

There is an updated part number for the non-M version that has a more durable ceramic or something and both FCP and Bimmerworld are shipping the old version according to user reports posted here and my personal experience with bimmerworld.

Just be careful for warranty abuse denials. FCP stipulates that they check their products to ensure that it isn't replaced prematurely, and if it is you'll be flagged for warranty abuse and then banned from the program.

Do you know what the updated part # is?

I just got mine from this place and its part # is #12120039634 which is different than the one Op posted of the non-M.
