Three plugs/patches in one rear tire, two in the other. I live in an area with a lot of home construction occurring. :/ The routes I use to get around town now are circuitous to say the least.

Doesn't anyone get tire protection? It's like 100 bucks or something from tirerack, even free with Belle tire or a dozen other local tire shops.

Add wheel weights. Picked up one and absolutely shredded one of my rear OE Contis. Whats worse is 7000 miles later found a slow leak on the other side. Contis were noisy as hell, so decided to dump them for a new set of Super Sports. So 6 tires in 18K miles for me. Pretty happy with the Michelin's so far. No noise is music to the ears.

I personally would never run tires for more than two years on a high performance car. Not that is is a problem for me as I track my car and will use about 3 sets this year.

I know the feeling. I too live in a heavy construction neighborhood. I learned and got good plugging my own.

I use the DynaPlug Pro: https://www.amazon.com/Dynaplug-Xtre...s%2C146&sr=8-9

I have not one, but two nails in the right rear. Which is annoying, as it goes flat in a couple of days sat on the drive.

It's close to the wear markers, but still...

So, MPS4S here I come.
