When in Holland I saw my friends HS and another's Orange all the time but now I'm in southern NL and have only seen an LBB with DE plates in the wild and another HS at the mech when getting alignment and exhaust.

Sometimes a passerby stops and talks to me like "It's my first time to see an M2..." while I am washing my car in my garage.

In southern california, I see another M2 usually 1-2 times a week. If I head to Newport or LA, then 3-4 times a week.

In the Bay Area I'd see an M2 at least a few times a month.

Surprisingly, I've only seen two M2's in LA county in the last five months. One of those was a CS. I would've expected to see more here in LA given that BMW/car culture seems to be bigger here. However, I see M3s, M4s, M5s and even Supras way more often here than in the Bay so maybe the M2 model just isn't as popular here?

Where in southern NL are you? You may see my American plated car there next summer. Going to do a long trip there next summer and since no euro delivery, I will do it myself haha.

You will be seeing another HS M2C in Charlotte very soon. I work in Plaza Midwood area but live near University.

I saw a LBB OG M2 last weekend and a HS M2C pulled up to the Northlake dealer on a Sunday a few months ago. Other than that only a couple of other random spottings that I can think of.

I have seen an HS twice while visiting my daughter in Humble TX. I have seen a couple of BSM here in West County (StL) while in mine and an HS with Kansas plates when I was in my wife's car. I have seen several LBB’s around, but my glimpse was too brief to know if they were M2 or M2C. It has been a while since I saw the last one.

It's one of the big reasons I have this car, besides the pure joy factor. I've never seen another one in the wild.

Side note: I was getting gas the other day and a guy yells out of a minivan "Should have bought a Ford!!!!". I literally busted out laughing. It sounded so redneck'ish.
