Lack of Android Auto has been my biggest complaint since my last car had it.

iDrive is decent but BMWs nav system. and voice recognition is garbage compared to Google's.

Come to think of it, a bigger fuel tank is something I'd definitely welcome. Normal driving fuel range is ok but when you bury your foot in it the fuel just evaporates. It can become an issue in the rural mountain twisties.

Spare tire and larger fuel tank. But, who cares, this car is the best and a forever keeper with stick shift.

I think for the price this car is perfect! Sure you can add more creature comforts and a bit more suspension and performance improvements, but then you'll pay a higher price. At which point you get into P car territory. I hope the G87 is equally sparse (and I dont think the F87 is that sparse), and price point low, so we can continue to enjoy the M2 for the special package that it is.

Lightness. A good deal of lightness. Not 50 or 100lbs of it, more like 250-350lbs of it.

Proper seats that can take safety harnesses. Lighter wheel/brakes.

But, even without these, I think it's perfect for me and grateful to be able to have it in my garage!

Lose some weight in the front. It needs carbon fibre hood, fenders, and more light weight parts in the engine room.

Also no adaptive cruise control, and android auto, makes it feel outdated. The last years of the f22 had acc...

Considering most modern cars, the M2C is not that excessively heavy.
I weighed mine on corner balance scales and it was 3559 lbs (1614kg) with a full tank of fuel. Without fuel, it would be about 80lbs less.

The corner balance on it is very very good from factory.

Sure it would be great to go even lighter, but we'd have to shed more options (that people seem to want more of), and shed more radiators, etc.
So if anyone cares about an opinion, I think the weight is acceptable.

Add lighter wheels and that may just solve it for most everyone.

This is probably the biggest complaint. It's a small pig of a car and get little fuel to burn.

2 things that really should've been standard: Adaptive suspension and improved safety features. Understand F20/F22/F87 is an older platform, but lack of some safety features (blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert etc) isn't good enough and should have been rectified in LCI updates. And adaptive suspension. Not good enough that the lesser models like M240i has this standard and it's optional on 230i etc. Should've been standard.

Nice to haves that would've made it perfect for me: Android auto, and bigger fuel tank. That's about it.

HUD gets my vote also.
It took a bit of getting used to, when I switched to the M2.
