What is the M2C missing that keeps it from being perfect?
I don't even have mine yet, but I already know that I will miss the Head-Up Display that was in my Camaro. It's the greatest thing ever on a racetrack because of the F1-style shift lights that converge from either side of the display while turning from green to yellow to red. But even in normal everyday driving it becomes almost essential once you get used to it. There was no need to look down at the speedometer or tachometer. Ever. It was also integrated with the Navigation system, so when a turn was coming up, the HUD would redundantly display the direction arrow and distance. And finally, it was a crisp, color display!
First time I ever saw one was when I test drove a C6 Corvette. It blew my mind because it appeared as though it's just floating about 3 feet in front of the windshield in mid-air. During the test drive I kept thinking it was like something out of Star Wars. Many cars have a Head-Up Display now, including BMWs. Why doesn't the M2C offer one?!

HUD’s are awesome. My last 3 cars have had them and it’s a complete game changer.
I had to re learn to look at my dash when driving with my M2 lol As for why, I guess they need to give you some reasons to buy an M4. 360 camera is also a guilty pleasure, seriously having a front camera on a low car makes parking with parking blocks much better. Not saying you can’t do it without just like a backup cam, but I can get WAY closer with a camera than by eyeballing it. |

I too like HUD's, but on an M2 with competition in the name, I just don't see it. But then again, I don't see heavy wheels and a bad sound either, and it has those.
With such success, I would have hoped BMW would have made several versions of the car, then we could have all gotten the content we wanted. M2 M2L M2CSL But sadly, it's all too late for that. Last edited by ///MPhatic; 04-10-2021 at 11:55 AM.. |

In my opinion, a more sorted and compliant suspension... it's definitely stiff, it just doesn't transform into performance in my opinion.
With that being said, Blind Spot monitoring wouldn't hurt. |

I also vote for the HUD, blind spot monitoring, and front camera. Even my wife’s Mazda has them.

I don’t care for HUD.
I miss the cooled seats in the Mustang GT I traded in. M2 should also have forward camera with data overlay, like Camaro.

Leather on the dash, 450HP, and HUD. That is it.

Perfection is in the eye of the beholder...
For me it needs to be lighter, have hydraulic steering (pipe dream) and a better suspension (no car in this price range will have an adequate stock suspension for my taste). Also the exhaust noise (OPF car) could be a bit louder. Still an awesome bang for buck performance coupe |

HUD, 763 wheels, adaptive suspension, lower seating position, more steering feel, CF roof, a bit lighter.

I could care less about any of the comfort creatures being mentioned. Adjustable dampers should have been an option be it an expensive one. I know you have that in the CS but I'm not into carbon body panels. Some other things would be nice options to have: carbon ceramic brakes, lighter forged wheels options, more performance oriented brakes, and integrated camber adjustment functionality.

In terms of further improvement to the current car, from factory, the most standout things (without it actually becoming a whole different car); better steering feel, bigger fuel tank, less weight.
