The car has a lot going on - all of which I enjoy visually - but the gold rims I feel are visually distracting from a balance perspective. Having said that - I do enjoy the boldness of them and from that perspective they are fun!
Congrats on a monster machine |

Any plans to retrofit LCI headlights/taillights/gauges? Surprised you did all this fantastic work and didn't touch a lot of the dated-looking pre-facelift parts.

LOVE the colour (always have on the GT2RS). Car sounds mean as hell (just watched your drifting video on YouTube, nice driving!).
How did you take this photo? I know it's a long exposure, but any other tips? I've played around with light trails but they never look this solid/thick.

I've never done this before actually. This picture and the other are my only 2 attempts haha. Maybe the lights are 'thick' because my tripod was 'very' high. And my brake pedal was pushed in the whole photo so. Maybe thats why it's so thick and red. Also the color grading must be done right in Lightroom. 👍🏻 |

This build is just epic and I think it's great he did not take it too far in to changing unnecessary items...

1. They arguably look better and make the car seem newer, meaner, and more modern. 2. There are practical benefits. The LED headlights perform better than xenons. The taillights do not need bulb replacements as often (if ever) since they are LED. The LCI gauge cluster is much easier to read, especially in low light conditions. 3. Just because you can't see your headlight/taillights while you drive doesn't mean those details aren't important to others who see you driving by. My opinion about my car isn't the only one that matters. I care about what my car looks like to other people and It's part of the enjoyment that I get from ownership. Yes, I bought it for myself, but that doesn't mean I don't get pleasure from watching people break their necks as I drive by. Yes of course there are some impracticalities such as added cost and complications with coding and istep updates, but I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. The taillights are only $500 and the gauge cluster is only $1000. Yes, the headlights are probably too expensive to justify for many ($3500), but there are other aftermarket options for painted housings and icon angel eyes that would be closer to $1000. Add all that up and it's about $2500 which isn't really a big investment when compared to all of the money he's already put into this build. I'm sure his paint job alone cost 4 times that amount. Yes, this build is epic and I love it. My question to OP was not meant as disrespectful or hateful, I was just making a suggestion. It's okay to have a difference of opinion. |

True; and you explained your reasons nicely. I understand it really well from your point of view...and indeed different people, different tastes. 👌🏼

I'm really having a difficult time trying to decide whether or not I like this one better than the Hockenheim iND build lol... Either way, OP, amazing build and holy shit you nailed it with that Oak Green! I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed my M2s! Btw, who designed/made those grilles for the lower front bumper?
