***Last Call***GROUP BUY: Akrapovic Slip-On for M2C/CS

As the title suggests, I want to setup a group buy for the Akrapovic Slip-On for the M2C/M2CS. I reached out to a forum sponsor hoping they'd be open to the idea, and thankfully they were. If we can get a minimum of 5 people, we can get a group buy price!

ETA in the U.S. for the slip-on is approx. 4-6 weeks

Update: the group buy will close on March 19, 2021.

If you'd like to be a part of the group buy, please chime in below so we can get it setup.

Does this include link pipe?
How much is discounted from MSRP or usual sale price?
Thanks

I was part of the Akra supreme power group buy with Eric for my 718 Spyder.

I need to research the Akra system for the CS first. I haven't heard any cars with them. Does it require cutting the OEM CS exhaust ?

Retail is $4827.

No, it doesn't include the link pipe. The link pipe is no longer available in the U.S.

I've been looking in to the possibility of getting that, but was thinking about the link pipe too. I didn't realize it was no longer available. I think I am 75% in on this group buy, need to research more before I'm final..lol

I'm definitely interested as well. I'm only asking because I don't know, but the link pipe is available on IND-Distribution. Will they not ship to the US? i haven't tried placing the order yet. thanks!

AFAIK, IND doesn't have any in stock and cannot get any more from the U.S. Akra distributor.

That's a good price.

The link pipe is no longer sold because the EPA is starting to enforce a lot of the existing laws only recently (whereas they were much less a stickler about this in the past) and they're going after lots of companies that manufacture/sell/install/tune emissions deleted components. A "for off-road use only" disclaimer or signed waiver by the customer will not protect the company.

In that first video linked above, in the drive-by shots the exhaust sound more irritating to me rather than more soulful....meaning the volume increase includes or amplifies all the bad characteristics and harmonics as much or more than the good.

Hopefully it sounds better in real life, recordings can be off with echo from the surrounding buildings etc.

Obviously subjective and sound through video not being same as in person, but the setup I have for about the same money sounds as good if not better. (AA mid-pipe and Remus Race rear). Not sure if I will install or sell it until after break-in.

I have the link pipe but I prefer to wait a bit longer to install it,
I have the slip on installed and it is already very satisfactory!

You'd likely have to buy the link pipe separately... However, since you're in Canada and not the USA, it's likely the Canadian authorized distributor may not be subject to the same restrictions like Turn 14 Distribution (the only authorized USA wholesaler for Akrapovic).

Still a bit hesistant on this cause it requires an exhaust cut but that's a good deal. I'm interested.

Definitely considering it. I 100% am planning on getting the Akra, just have to decide if I want to spend the money now. But definitely interested.
