I'm with you on the trim piece keeping the ///M badge. I'm considering this instead with the CF insert from IND. Another $450 upgrade so I'm holding off for now.

This looks like the alcantara version and not OEM Carbon fiber. I'm getting the gloss carbon M Performance F8x inlay installed next week so will share pics.

Looking forward to the pics! Did you PPF your car? Interested whether the dealer used betalink as well as the bolts and rivets to fit the winglets.

Front PPF only. I'll let you know re the installation method next week when I drop it in for the break in service.

I’m liking the wingle lets idea to Jimjamz, a very nice contrast for the HS and AW cars too me thinks and just flows with all the other CF stuff without being OTT.

Question for those that did the install themselves... did you use the recommended body panel adhesive per bmw guide?? Or did you just stick with the 3m and tabs?

I got some m performance winglets room my dealer. 20% discount. It was 980 + tax if I recall.

Looks alone can be a solid enough reason... any rocker protection we can get helps with the flair this car has!

I did use the adhesive, the plastic rivets won't hold shit.

When you apply the beta link, it goes right along the channel where the pre installed strip of double sided tape is.

Image from the weekend I also added to the dailies. The winglets add cohesion to the side profile and aesthetically link the front splitter with the rear spoiler and diffuser. They also keep debris off your rear arches.

I've added the RW Carbon side skirt, no winglets, and it looks great. Would have been a nice if added from BMW. I'm very happy with the way they look.

This is my 2nd favorite option.

If I ever get tired of the winglets, I may try these for a while. Maybe change it up with the season.

Are you guys installing this with self tapping screws or just adhesive? I'm a little hesitant to drill holes for the side skirt after reading about the potential for rust to form.
