W&W is the most common carrier used so I’ve been checking this site for schedule of ships coming out of Bremerhaven to Galveston. Last ships for the month are departing next week, otherwise the next ones are on the second week of April.

Good to know, thanks! After driving the same car for 21 years I don't think waiting a few extra weeks/months is going to kill me, but I could be wrong.

Cool! I just checked and it looks like there are actually 4 ships departing Bremerhaven with stops in Brunswick,GA next week. I'm fairly certain Brunswick will be my port. Fingers crossed that my car gets on one of those!

I sold my F30 335i 3 weeks ago thinking that I would take delivery of my M2 around early April. Now it’s looking to be early to mid May instead... probably wouldn’t have sold it so soon if I knew it was going to take this long. Starting to have withdrawals from a lack of 6MT/turbo-I6...

thanks for the info. My delivery is in Mississippi so I figured it would either be Brunswick or Galveston. The delay works for me since I'm on vacation(with no plans) the 3rd week of April, so hopefully it lands the week before and I can make a week trip out of picking it up.

Mine finally changed to "In Transit" this morning. Based on a little detective work I think it is probably aboard the W&W "Patriot" and is set to arrive in Brunswick on April 12th. I'll try to verify this with the BMW Genius later today.
Woohoo!

Lots of ships leaving Bremerhaven this week, good luck everyone!

My car went to In Transit as well, so probably on the same boat as yours! What luck! I only spent 4 days at port.

Also, apparently the status doesnt change to In Transit until about two days after you get on a boat, so we could actually be on the Morning Chorus that left port on March 19 and bound for Galveston.

Apparently it’s on the Niagara Highway. It left March 19 and scheduled to arrive in Brunswick, GA on April 4.

I haven't been able to get the bmw tracking site to load in a day or two. I assume I'm on one of those boats as well

EDIT: I'm in Transit! I tried the site, didn't work, made this post, tried the site again and it was working.

For some reason I'm not seeing that ship on the W&W schedule but I hope my car is on it! Looks like I need to start scheduling my PPF and ceramic guy.

Looks like I got a spot. My car left Bremerhaven on the 19th, is currently in Southampton, and is ultimately headed to Charleston, SC to do a PCD. I called the support number at BMW (844-443-6487), and they are expecting the boat (Niagara Highway) to arrive in Charleston on APR 6th. Looks like a little over a two week shipping time if that helps anyone else as a reference.

Interesting how all of our cars were produced at different weeks but all ended up together on the Niagara Highway. Gives a bit of perspective at how the BMW supply chain works, in that the cars are grouped up and released to the ship in batches rather than individually hitching a ride on the next available ship.

Seems like only cars that are being shipped to east coast got on the boat, my car is still showing ‘at port’. Hopefully a boat for the west coast bound cars comes this week, fingers crossed.

This is probably borderline obsessive but using a free online marine tracker I've been tracking the status of the ship all day and saw that the ship is finally pulling out of its dock in Southampton and sailing into the English Channel. Its next port of call is in Baltimore on March 31.

Anyone else who would like to join in my obsessiveness can find the link below directly to the Niagara Highway's tracking page. However, I think this is only free until the ship reaches the open Atlantic. After that you'd have to subscribe for a premium service or just play the waiting game until the ship arrives at the East Coast.

Wow, looks like I am in good company! My car is also on the Niagara Highway on route to Charleston. Looks like a lot of precious cargo on that one ship. Looking forward to delivery and hearing about your experiences.

I just confirmed with the nice young woman at BMW Genius that my car is indeed on the Niagara Highway and the estimated arrival at my port of delivery in Brunswick, GA is April 4th.

I guess it's time to start getting everything lined up. My nephew is a certified installer of Ceramic Pro so I am going to PPF the entire car with their Kavaca product and then apply Ceramic Pro top coat. They will also be tinting the windows for me. Fairly expensive but the owner of the detailing shop offered me a deal that is too good to pass on and I'm really OCD when it comes to automobiles.

Looks like we ordered the same M2C and mine also went into the production queue this week. This is about two weeks ahead of schedule from when I placed the order

yes...mine also entered production about 2 weeks sooner than my CA estimated. would love to be able to do PCD before the end of april but that's probably way too optimistic.
