How did you get such an offer! I’m looking for an M2C but seeing minimum 54k for 2019 and 57k for 2020, and they get bought up quite fast even at those prices.

Seller’s market. Not a buyer’s market.

For reference I did a nationwide search last week on Autotrader only for used M2C:

Average selling price: $57k
Average mileage: 10k
Inventory: 66 (excluded a few due to outliers/CS model)

Just because people pay the price doesn’t mean it makes any sense. Clearly the market isn’t following a normal trend for this car and arguably some others.

I should clarify - I traded in my M2C for $51k. I purchased it last year in April for $53k and put almost 13k miles on the car.

As a buyer, I'd buy a nee car than pay ridiculous prices for used.
