Given the visuals on the CS that's a little hard to understand.

If he's implying a boy racer is a try hard, ie all show no go, then it's hard to argue that was the case for any M2.

Regardless, the M2 is a fun car. Most of its drivers seem to enjoy it the way it was intended - regardless of variant.

Further, I enjoyed this vid, anyone sharing their enthusiasm for the M2 driving experience is a welcome thing to share.

My OGM2 beats our M4 to 60 over and over again without a sweat

The OGM2 is a very capable car and I actually take the boy racer title in a very positive way

Yeah I previously owned a OG M2 and it was far from a 'boy racer'. Boy racer usually refers to young persons who tune and modify stock cars with street racing-style aftermarket cosmetic and performance parts. Anyways I guess he is entitled his own opinion..

You guys are all wrong about the purpose of the rear seats. They were never meant for humans, they’re meant to take your track wheels to the track in air conditioned comfort.

That’s the true beauty of these M cars. When you show up at the track you have a street setup, a rain setup (same street tires) and a sticky dry setup - oh and a trunk full of tools, bags etc. All without the need for a giant truck, a trailer, flimsy wood ramps for unloading. Not to mention you get to have fun going and coming because guess what, you aren’t driving a truck with a tow behind.

I’ve been in situations where when it started raining on a track day, within 2 or 3 laps all manner of exotica pulled out meanwhile on my street PSS I was having a blast.



That said, the GT4 is still very tempting, and a great driving experience, for not significantly more money.

That said, I own a modified Acura Integra and a M2 so maybe he’s on to something. Either that or they’re both exceptional drivers cars.

Recommend spec: CCB w. DCT.

For a road only car, which he does state he doesn’t track his road cars. Fair enough, but that’s the most expensive trim and kind of not the point of this all around car, so I definitely wouldn’t make that the default recommended spec. Not like you can even order one anyway therefor that was completely superfluous.

I saw this review the other night from the YT algorithms and I kind of cringed the whole time personally but to each their own.
