Any real world experience would be 👍🏻
Been commented on in other threads. Some people want to daily drive on the Cup 2's. That's their choice and fine. However, as you stated, they are not great in areas like Colorado, etc where sand/gravel is common on the road. They hold onto, and launch everything.

Sandblaster for sure. And not just tiny specs. I've pulled full on pebbles from the tires. Definitely get PPF if running cup2.

Shout out to Detail Authority in Fairfax, Va!!!

They did an amazing job on the M2cs 😎

I ended up going with the Extended Rocker Package with the 10 Mil XPEL which they highly recommended for the Rocker and in front of the rear arches.

They also custom cut the rear arches sections bigger and wider than normal...so, really great coverage!

Noticed this while I was washing the car this morning. Did not penetrate through the protective layer.

This is going to sound crazy, so please be gentle and don't hurt my feelings. Has only put PPF on their gloss black side windows trim? Mildly concerned with swirl marks that may appear in these areas? This may be over-the-top OCD, or I'm just bored.

It is true that the gloss black plastic swirls super easy. It is also pretty easy for a detailer to polish out, so I personally would rather just have the detailer deal with it since rock chips and door dings etc. are unlikely in that area.

A lot of the high-end PPF shops are doing that now (some by default, some for an additional charge). There is a video of a detailer installing it on the gloss black trim, somewhere in this forum. Will post a link later if I can find it.

EDIT: found it
