Joined the OG M2 MT club

So long story short, the X3M as quick as it is leaves a bit of fun to be desired and I had an M2 itch that needed scratched. Just picked up my MANUAL M2 in LLB to join the X3M and I am loving it. Car is in fantastic condition and I have a lot planned for it.

The car was screaming for some M style mirror caps so picked up some carbon ones and installed straight away.

If someone could tell me what I need to get CarPlay (pre lci) that would be great. The wireless is not specced.

I know most people get the M2 for the fun/handling characteristics, but was the power underwhelming for you hopping back to back between the S58 and N55?

The X3M is a missile and is deceptively fast. The M2 is quick but no where near the pulling power of the S58, I don't feel like I need more power in the M2. Both engines are fantastic.

Agree on OG M2 power...not saying more wouldn't be nice, but I think it's plenty and fits the car perfectly.

M2 FEELS fast which is a USP Vs quattro and I imagine SUV fast cars.

Honestly down a narrow B road I couldn't handle much more power than 400 to the wheels I don't think.

Arguably one of the last balanced M cars are the M2s before we get into bloatware GTR wannabe HP territory!

Ditto. From "I want CarPlay" to "oooh this is nice" was 2 hours. He's fast!
