Where did you get the OEM floor mounts and sliders from?

Also, how did you eliminate the Airbag Warnings?

Did you use ESYS? Or some PNP option?

THX!

OEM manual sliders are from eBay off an F3x. Sourced them last summer when I knew I was going to go down this path.

Coded it myself with E-Sys and recently posted about this in that Cobra install thread that's popped up. The thread was quite helpful for my first time coding with E-Sys.

Your trunk pics make me regret not going the same route and getting the trunk...

Looks fantastic!

Hey man.
How much camber are you currently running? Any issues with the PS4S and added camber?

I was on -2.5 F/R and no issues with either the P4S and Cup2.

I was thiking of going -3/-2 F/R, but unsure if the PS4S will hold that long. I have Cup 2s for the track, am not worried about them, only the PS4S, which I'd like to have as my daily.

Im running -3f -2r for my current track setup. Road tire seems to be ok but I don't drive long distance at this time.

If you want to run a track camber setup then make sure your toe is set to Zero up front. It will allow your front inside edges to last quite a bit longer.

A friend forwarded me this, what's your input?

F: -3, toe 5'
R: -2, toe 20'

Ill probably go with 2.5-2.75 negative camber for the front, though, as it isn't a pure track car.

When you run an aggressive Neg Camber setting up front any toe at all is a force mutiplier on inside edge tire wear. I've been playing with camber and toe settings on my BMW's since 1998. All my M's track fine with zero toe..

I concur on the toe, I run zero toe to prolong life on the street.

I remember how easy it was to knock my EVO X's front end out of alignment.

Specifically the toe.

I had the car aligned once with new street tires and must have knocked the toe out of its neutral setting. MY tires were gone in less than 8K miles!.

Toe really chews up your fronts. Don't run any....

It's been a while since I've done an update so I figured I might as well get going with one because there's some really really good stuff coming and I'm extremely excited about it.

I added a few more euro pieces to the mix including a OEM euro fog switch and euro black line tail lights. As I go I'll continue to add more euro pieces to the mix.

Next I want to add a few pics of the cup holder trim piece that I got, I bought a new one that didn't have the USB slot and instead of cutting a hole for the CAE shifter, I actually used a heat gun and made and indent for it to fit without cutting. It's not perfect but it's definitely much better than a gaping hole.

As for the USB slot that was there before, I just tucked it away in case I ever need to use it someday. Not even an issue for me to be honest.

Shortly after this I received my highly anticipated package from Bend Calibration. After much research, feedback and consideration I've opted for ECUTEK and custom tune by Bend Calibration. I don't plan on going max power by any means but I believe with this setup I can achieve what I ultimately want out of my car.

Here is their new plug n play harness as well.

I will be having a garage sale of sorts for almost all stock parts I'm removing that is for sure. No need to keep most of them. It may be a good way for someone to get like new parts for an older M2 or 2er.

Any coding to install the switch? I already have the rear fogs coded but read somewhere that the switch need it to be also coded? Thanks

Yes there was coding. I found the information here on Bimmerpost, just search and you'll find it. It was pretty easy to do.

Another quick update on some add-ons that I've been working on while my car is torn apart. I initially didn't anticipate doing any cooling upgrades or any of these items for that matter until later this year but as soon as I caught wind of their release I HAD to do it.

I've been a huge fan of do88 products since my e92 m3 and when I contacted them about the M2C when I first got it, they said it might be a while. Fast forward a year later they showed a sneak peak on their IG page. I messaged them again and got right in line. I purchased the following immediately and I welcomed their arrival to the US. First set of do88 cooling upgrades to land stateside and installed on the M2C platform.

The list of items for this round includes the following:
  • do88 Charge Cooler
  • do88 J-Pipe
  • do88 Charge Pipes
  • do88 Heat Exchanger
  • do88 Turbo Inlet Pipes

I've just ordered the following which should be arriving by the end of the month.
  • do88 Oil Cooler
  • do88 Intake System

And the last two do88 items they are currently working on are the side mount coolers as well. Stoked to get those when they come.

USA's 1st Team Schirmer GT!!!

I ended up selling the Eventuri intake and the Eventuri charge pipes that I had. Nothing wrong with them at all but I just prefer do88 and the success I had with their products in the past.

And I've been working on something special that no one has done outside Europe and I'm pretty excited about it. I've sold my MCS 2WNR and other suspension bits and I'm doing some massive upgrades.

I've been working with Tom Schirmer owner of Team Schirmer over the past year on all of my exterior parts which I've installed and posted some thus far. I have a couple more pieces that I'll be sharing soon. One day he and I got to talking over the phone, I expressed my goals and we started working towards it. It's been in the works for a few months and I'm excited to share that I'm the first person in the US/North America to bring a Schirmer GT across the pond.

There are a few cars that motivated me to get my M2C, ie IG's Kenzo_M2, mike_ac01, and flyingchris7 to name a few. I knew I wanted to have a car similar to them but didn't think I could even come close to what I'm going to have now. I'm stoked for the opportunity, I've been wanting this for a long time and I know a lot of Schirmer fans (at least in the US) have been dreaming about this for a LONG LONG time.

I'll share as much as I can and hope y'all enjoy the process. I know I have.

Charlotte is ready!

Over the weekend, I spent time dropping down the subframe with the help my new best friend (The low lift transmission jack that I got from Harbor Freight) it made life much easier especially when doing this on my own.

I forgot to take more pics of progress but at least I got these two. I'll be sure to post more as I go along. I still have a lot of work to do and am still waiting on one box from DHL. Customs can suck it...
