Those OEM BMW arch trim units are pretty nice.

Studs finished for a maximum of 15mm spacer, I will use them on rear with a 10mm spacer.

I received the softest kw springs on Friday and despite having sent them pics of my springs with the measurements, they sent me different rear ones, and since I don't want to wait any longer to install them, I needed to make 6 adapters, for now I have installed the rear ones They are easy to assemble, the front ones need to be completely disassembled to be able to remove the springs.

Old ones vs news ones:

Custom adapters for new springs

I bought some covers for buggy shock absorbers and modified them for my springs to have a protection, also changed a few rusty bolts for titanium ones

We continue with titanium bolts, for the reinforcement plate I did not find m10x1.5 with a large head, I had to modify 8 m12 bolts converting them into m10x1.5

This weekend I installed more titanium bolts and checked the tires, the rear ones need to be changed, these ad09's have lasted a short time, I installed them on January 6, 2024 with 53,000km, the car now has 55,000km.

I don't want to imagine how short the a052 would have lasted.

How did you drive? My A052 were only driven once at the track and it was damp, but still have done over 3.000km already and they're looking as new to be honest. I know they go away pretty quickly, but 2.000km doesn't sound right.

I use it on mountain roads, always at a fairly aggressive pace.

Just general wear? Or is it due to excessive toe or camber? That’s really surprising to hear. I’m also running AD09 for street and have maybe 4K km on them and they still look fairly new.

General wear, same day when i installed the tires I aligned them, I left them much less aggressive than before, and even so they have lasted less than expected.

I will go back to the previous tires and alignment.

Today I repaired the short DP, a few days ago I heard a strange noise from the exhaust, the flexible of the DP looks like a Coca Cola can.

I couldn't find such a short flex anywhere, so I cut it from the original cat, and the surprise was to see that the original one has a much higher quality.

I added titanium bolts and nuts to avoid corrosion.
