I attached the actual build sheet from a US dealership that states blue calipers but there may be a difference in configuration between US and Swiss models.

I believe there are multiple people on this forum who ordered a U.S. spec M2C which said "blue calipers" on the build sheet but showed up with the same grey calipers everyone has.

This video is great finally seeing a real one. I actually purchased one of these after my dealer was having trouble getting my personal spec, but they made it right by giving me their special content one as it had most of the features I was getting just no sun roof, and I can add the carbon pieces after I get it. My question to the forum is does anyone know that "940 special edition content" is? Is there anything else besides the wheels, seats, and steering wheel?

My local dealer sent me a build sheet (attached) with pricing blocked for some options. He keeps saying he expects the price to be higher. I obviously don't believe him, but curious as to why it says blocked for him

There is no extra cost for the blocked items, I don't know why they show up as block but here is a build sheet with MSRP, do you have an allocation?

these units are already pre built. Dealers didn't get to modify them. Not a lot of dealers will even get one also. Very limited on these.

I don't think you will miss it after a week or so. But then again I am not a moonroof kinda of guy so I personally would never use one. Shoot as Ive gotten older I don't even roll down the windows anymore lol

I got one and it just moved from order received to production scheduled in the bmw tracker today! No idea when it will be mine but hopefully in Jan-feb. It seems like most of the units have been word of mouth as the dealers can't even pick auto or manual it's a 50/50 random split and only 120 are being made so I don't think all dealers will even get one.

I know exactly what you mean. I've had a moon-roof for every car I've owned over the last 25 years. The M2CS is the first time I've purchased a car in that time without one and that seriously bums me out.

I know it's ridiculous but I'm addicted to moon-rooves!

Mine doesn't have a date and I called and the robot said the same thing it's scheduled but without a date.

I just googled it but here is how to do it I used the production number.

How to track the car status via phone with BMW of North America
Call: (1-800) 831-1117.
Say "Vehicle Production Status" when prompted… or at any time after the recording starts.
You will be asked for your production number, or last seven digits of your VIN.
