trouble after disconnecting the battery

I just upgraded my steering wheel and in the process needed to disconnect the battery, after reinstalling the new wheel assembly and reconnecting the battery I noticed two things, 1. the windows don't drop when closing the door, 2. There is a new light "DSC OFF" that is lit up on the dashboard in the tachometer gauge. Do I need to do something to reset some settings, any ideas?

Have you tried turning the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right?

Yep—I believe this resets things with ignition on.

Re. the windows: I disconnected my battery and had to remove the steering wheel airbag module in order to swap out my M1 and M2 buttons for blue ones. I didn’t think to do this with the driver’s window down. When I was finished and reconnected the battery, I began to close the driver’s door and realized just in time that the window had inched up to the “door closed” position when the door was fully open. I almost slammed the top of the window into the edge of the roof.

OK, i am afraid i screwed the pooch on this one.
When i had the wheel off i turned the disc that holds the female end of the plugs and must have wound the wire ribbon inside the hub, after reinstalling the new wheel, to reset the computer i turned the wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right, when i went all the way to the right i could hear something clicking, and i think i damaged the internal wire or wire connection inside the hub. any idea how bad this will be to repair?
Now none of my steering wheel controls work and i have a air bag malfunction light on.

I think the part i need to replace or repair is the slip ring
Any ideas on how hard that is to replace?
I doubt the dealer will cover this repair as i am the one who caused the issue by my F up moving the slip ring before re-istalling

Put it back together, where it doesn't look like it was tampered with and just play dumb.. :

There is a 50/50 chance they fix it, under the warranty or just tell you to go kick rocks..

Whatever, you might not get into Heaven but you would save a bunch of money on this current F-up..

You can break down the part numbers below, if you decide to DIY the repair..
