Vinyl Supplier for Grill accents

Hello all,

Looking to wrap my M2C vertical grill slats/supports with the ///M colors, but having a hard time finding the right colors or style of vinyl...especially in small quantities sufficient for the M2C/LCI grill and its split slats.

Anyone have a good source they can recommend? Looking to do it myself but cant seem to source the right stuff

~Ryan

rcodea,

I would try a sign shop like Sign Pros, etc. I have gotten some scrap material very cheap for other projects I have done. Make sure it is outdoor grade vinyl or it will degrade quickly. Also, reach out to places that wrap cars, they may have some scraps as well.

Further, please remember its YOUR car and if you want to wrap the grill slats, go for it. Far too many people feel that instead of providing helpful answers to your questions, or just saying nothing, their opinions and snarky comments need to be heard instead. Nobody cares, block out the noise, you do you.

Post a picture when you get it installed.....

If I wanted this look, rather than DIY wrap, I would I would just buy the IND slats (which appear to just be painted the exact colors on the leading edge):

Everybody give a hand to Mr. Rogers who thinks this is a kindergarten finger painting class where you’re all winners.

It’s your car, and you’re free to do lame stuff to it. You’re not free from ridicule though. That’s life.

I actually enjoy seeing people do this as it makes less tacky cars look even better. It’s awesome. Buy all the grill stripes and fake OLED lights. Please.

eBay sellers have precut ones for a few bucks. I would recommend NOT getting expensive painted grills. First of all, no one will notice the difference but you. Second, I have no doubt that expensive slat paint job will slowly rock chip away to nothingness. Third, when you eventually get sick of them bc you see every fake M on the road does the same grill stripes, you can just peel it off and pretend like it never happened with very minimal impact to your wallet.
