Mines still good but I pamper “my baby” and is stored under cover at night with a Bmw Car Cover .

The clear coat is solid and no deformation etc etc .

Mine was the last imported Bmw M2 Cs into Australia (and one of the last RHD production examples) .

I don’t leave it out on Hot Days or extreme Wet inclement weather (either).

She gets driven once a month for 40-50 minutes and then put back in garage .

Cheers

This is good to know, wonder if it was an early production issue...

Mine is also fine. No wavy weave either. The AUS ones were some of the last made (quite a few didn’t get delivered until 21) because they could still make them for our market after the EU emissions rule changed mid year.

Out of interest. My sense from these notes is that at worst this issue is a cosmetic one. If that’s the case, why not own it as a character of the car? I think over time this will become part of the folklore of the F87 CS.

The local BMW dealership here has an M2CS sitting on the showroom floor(not for sale) and looks immaculate.

I'd love to get mine looking close to that.

My issue is the laminate has become washy/worn out. There are some weave deformities but I have zero concerns about that as thats purely cosmetic and gives the cs unique character.

If you’re sense is correct, then I agree and would leave it be. Just a bit of a gamble since no one has told me that for sure, BMW included. Think part of the issue is, the sample size here in the US is so small, so there isn’t much precedent for such a unique / rare part.

Just gonna keep an eye on it, research it more, and make the call before warranty expiration. Fingers crossed it’s just cosmetic, I’ll leave it be!

That's what I've been saying. See post #101.
