Long time listener, first time caller. Week 50 build, hanging out at quality check. Congratulations to all on their purchases. Will be great to see all the content and reviews coming out over the next few weeks as these babies start rolling wheels on US soil.

Good to know in case I ever need a place to stay in MA. My paws like the feel of switching gears manually, rather than paddling. (I see you prefer the same.) Just got word that my car will be at the dealership tomorrow, it's on the truck from the port at the moment. Almost home freeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

As an individual, it cost me roughly $5500. Larger companies may have slightly better discounts, but it's not cheap.

Talk to my SA this morning. He said that they just changed the status to released for shipping today despite it being at port the last 3 weeks. He has no idea what is going on or any way to move things along. Can't drive it anyway... as long as it is here before the end of the year is all I really care about.

Just a thought, would you be able to ask him to give you the cost of the airfreight as a discount and you just wait a little while longer?

If it costs say $15k to airfreight it, that would be an awesome saving for you

Call the nice folks at BMW USA - Genius Hotline. Follow the auto prompt and hold until you get someone on the line and ask them for the vessel name. If the car is loaded they will have a name for you.

The Patriot and Freedom are next to depart (bound for East Coast) on 11/19 and 11/25 respectively. Patriot has been in Bremehaven for a good while now. Expecting many week 40-something cars in her belly wrapped in Christmas bows
