E9X and F8X competition are heavier because they go up in size.

E92 M3 359M ZCP wheels didn't change in diameter, there are 19". 20" was new with the F8x Note: I apologize, I forgot you could get 18's.

None the less they are heavier. The E9x zcp 359m wheels are 1/2in wider F/R, but they are also not even forged like the base 220m 19in wheels. The 359m wheels on 1M and E9x M3 are boat anchors. Never understood why BMW cheaped out and made the competition wheels flow form cast wheels.

788M are not bad compared to the lower priced BBS wheels and other cast wheels, and lighter than 359M as others mentioned. In terms of stock BMW 19" wheels they are only heavier than 437M I think. If the added weight is more in the face/hub vs the barrel the impact will be slightly less as well.

I thought they called them lightweight, not lighter. I agree it's not the best but BMW marketing is always full of nonsense.

763M is not really like 220M at all. 763s are basically aftermarket M Performance wheels, not factory wheels, more expensive, and I have seen zero on the road. The take rate for 220M was high. I couldn't find a car on the lot with the 18s back when I was looking. 220M is exactly the analogous wheel to 437M. Did you forget there are 18s for F80? I hate the 220M though. Almost as bad as E60 M5 wheels. |

I'm running Apex EC-7 in race silver in 9.5x19 and 10.5x19 sizes on my E90 M3. At 22.9 and 23.9lbs they are much lighter than the boat anchor 359M in addition to being 0.5" wider each. Their appearance is similar to the 359M. It's really too bad that offsets have to change so much between these and the F8x. Speaking of the F80, the 513M 18" wheels are fantastic imo -- forged, attractive, and very light.

Offset
Slight off topic but does anyone know the wheel offsets of these 788M wheels? Thanks.
