This from another thread.

Response #3 from MystroX5:

"This is a old problem I had with my C4S. It sat so low and sucked up everything in its front and Porsche didn’t think about this and made access a nightmare. Mods to solve this for performance cars are put a fine mesh screening behind the factory plastic screen. This has its own issues and not what I did I.

Here is what I did: I use a powerful Shopvac with a 2’ extended flexible hose that I taped on one of the Shopvac extension hoses. I bought the flexible hose at Lowe’s from the plumbing dept. Get a clear one. This system has worked for 10 years now and I suck out butts, leaves, trash, etc... and I only drive in nice weather away from the cities with the 911. I expect the M2C to be worse with its even larger air intakes.
This mod has gone viral and a lot of people use it. So much easier than taking your front end apart to do yearly cleaning."

What folks suggest above worked for me.

After I got the leaves out, I added some mesh covers and inserts to prevent anymore leaves, rocks, etc... from getting stuck in there or damaging the heat exchangers.

A few weeks after the added mesh, I went for a cruise with a buddy and was pleasantly surprised that my lower grille covers caught a leaf!

The leaves will eventually dry out, crumble, and fall out themselves. No need to overcomplicate this, unless you got too many stuck in there and it's affecting your cooling (doubt it).

Yea, leave them in there to turn to compost. I even toss some soil and seeds in there with great luck. Last year we got THE BEST bell peppers in town! There year we're doing watermelon.

So while giving the M2 an early spring wash I accidentally came upon a solution. While drying the car with my leaf blower, if the leaf blower is situated on one of the marked opening in the front bumper grill, many of the leaves will rush out the other opening. You switch sides a few times and most of the leaves will come out. 👍
