Apex Motorsports | Team Schirmer M2C Walkaround & Laps

Came across this nice overview and some lap footage from Misha on the Apex Motorsports M2C and thought I’d share.

This was in the early 2000's Im not sure Ive got a picture of my old Nogaro silver Cecotto. I remember the suspension was using bilstein fronts and a German tuner rear suspension with different roll bars and bushes. It was a mix and match with some from Munich Legends and some from Germany. I experimented for a long time. It was superb in the end.

Even to the point that I was able to get in a pack of a professional race team testing and finally get passed them all. They were in front wheel drive full touring car Peugeot 205's but obviously a limited class, running small slicks. One of the guys came over and was blown away the tyres were road. He said the slicks they were running had less in corer grip than my M3, he was sliding ad he could see me flat and stable (The only reason I got passed !)

I'll see if I can hunt down some pictures, probably only 35mm printed

I have searched my old digital Pics and nothing before 2006, I owned the car from somewhere around 1999 to 2003. I bought a friends modded E39 M5 in 2003 and sold the car, I remember shimming the cams in my first house in the garage one cold evening trying to get the feeler guages in with very cold hands !

I have asked a few friends if they might be able to find any pics
